Summary Says govt will use full force for restoring peace in Karachi, no one will be spared.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has reiterated his resolve that government would use full force for bringing peace back in Karachi and strengthening the economy.

On Tuesday, he was chairing a meeting here in which leaders from all the political parties were present. He said that he would not carry out the politics on the issues of terrorism, and establishment of law and order in Karachi. There is not any favouritism in his mind regarding Karachi.

He has neither any apple of his eye nor any disliking in the city.

“Law and order and development of economy are linked with each other. If the investment would not come to the country ,how we would eliminate the poverty, unemployment  and the investment would come only when law and order situation would be improved”, PM added.

He said that there are many discussions are on the peace of Karachi. People are talking about the options of army and rangers, someone is uttering about targeted operation. But to resolve the problems faced by Pakistan, consensus on national level must be attained.

He said that Pakistan is the homeland of entire Pakistani nation and all the people would have to live here. The government wants to create harmony on Karachi situation.

The Prime Minister was of the view that now it is the high time to put the national interest on top priority by keeping the internal differences and personal gains aside. Political leadership should provide guidance to the government so that a joint line of action may be adopted for the peace in financial hub, Karachi.

PM said that the purpose of his tour was to Karachi is the get political reconciliation for the peace in the city. The government accepts the mandate of each and every party but also respects it. The federal government would provide every type of assistance to all provincial governments in running affairs smoothly.

He said that it is very heartening that the country is moving forward on the path, where ballot changes the government and that would lead Pakistan towards its destination.

On the occasion Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, MQM’s leaders Babar Ghuri , Haider Abbas Rizvi alongwith leaders of Jammat-e-Islami, ANP, Sunni Tehrik and representatives of other local political parties were present in the meeting.
