Summary The Election Commission had ordered recounting after PTI candidate had complained rigging.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Recounting of votes in PP-150 constituency continued for the second consecutive day on Tuesday in order to determine decisive victory of either candidate in the by-elections 2013. 

The recounting of votes commenced with delay of one hour as PTI candidate Mehr Wajid reached late as compared to his rival candidate PML-N candidate Mian Marghun.

However, both the candidates of rival candidates along with their supporters and polling agents were present in the office of retuning officer.

It is worth mentioning that on the very first day, only recounting of seven polling stations could be completed on the very first day of recounting while counting of 140 polling stations is yet underway.

Sources are of the view that if the recounting doesn’t complete today, the remaining task would be accomplished on the next day (Wednesday).

Election Commission ordered recounting of votes from the aforesaid constituency while taking suo motu notice after the PTI candidate had complained that his rival had committed rigging in polling; so recounting should be made in order to reveal real situation.
