LAHORE (Dunya News) – Martyred DIG Police Fayyaz Sumbal was laid to rest Friday in Lahore.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Law Minister Mian Mujtabah Shuja-ur-Rehman, Rana Mashood high police officials attended the funeral of the martyred DIG.
Secretary Interior Major Azam Suleman, IG Punjab Khan Baig and other police official were present on the occasion.
Talking to Dunya News, the family members of Fayyaz Sumbal said he was a role model for others and always helped those in distress.
DIG operations Fayyaz Ahmed Sumbal was killed Thursday in a suicide blast in in Quetta.
The blast occurred when the funeral prayer of Station House Officer (SHO) City, who was killed on Thursday morning, was being held.
30 people, including two high police officials, were killed in the blast.
