Summary Federal Anti-Corruption Court has ordered FIA to produce both on next hearing of EOBI Case.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Anti-Corruption Court resumed the hearing of EOBI case Tuesday. The court once again issued non-bailable warrants of former EOBI chairman Zafar Gondal and Qasim Javed.
The court directed FIA to produce both the accused on next hearing on August 16.
The Supreme Court had taken a suo motu notice of the EOBI scam over reports that the institution had caused a loss of Rs 40 billion to the national exchequer by investing huge amounts in private sector projects without approval of its board of trustees (BoT).
