Summary Shahbaz Sharif visited the flood-hit areas of Rajanpur district.

 

RAJANPUR (Dunya News) - Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif visited flood-hit areas of Rajanpur today (Monday) to review the overall situation.

 

He also took the aerial view of the inundated areas of Fazalpur and Jampur and inspected relief activities being extended to the flood victims.

 

The chief minister was given a briefing about the flood situation and the rescue and relief operation by concerned authorities.
Speaking on the occasion‚ the Chief Minister said Punjab government is sending relief goods to the affected areas and every possible help will be provided to the flood victims.

 

Meanwhile‚ 94 truck-load of necessary daily-use relief goods were dispatched to the flood affected areas of Rajanpur and D.G. Khan on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister.

 

The flood caused by hill torrents in Rajanpur also affected Darkhast Jamal Khan Gharbi Two, the area of Dera Ghazi Khan district.

 

Secretary Health Hassan Iqbal said that 32 relief-cum-medical camps had been established in flood-hit areas in the Rajanpur district with the back up of four mobile medical teams.
