Summary Says IMF has agreed to provide$5.30b as the government has put the economy on right track.

 

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Minster for Finance Ishaq Dar has said that parliament will be taken into confidence International Monitory Fund (IMF) programme.

 

Talking to the media here on Tuesday after a micro finance seminar, Dar said that IMF has agreed to provide the programme of 5.30 billion dollars because present government has put the economy of country on right track.

 

“Pakistan wants to take program of 7.30 billion dollar from IMF and to return this loan back to IMF we want first installment of 3.50 billion dollars”. He said

 

Earlier addressing the seminar, Finance Minister said that Rs 75 billion would be provided under income support programme.
