Summary Tribal chiefs have been consulted for the recovery of abducted cops.
ROJHAN (Dunya News):-Security forces of nine districts apparently have failed to recover nine cops from the captivity of robbers in Rojhan, tehsil of renowned site Rajanpur situated in the South Punjab.
High officials while taking notice of the issue called police of three districts and ordered them to launch an operation against the robbers for recovery of security men in the area of Kacha Jamal.
Police continued their operation for more than 16 hours and fired hundreds of bullets without and planning and strategy but ultimately failed to recover their colleagues from the captivity of robbers.
DIG Dera Ghazi Khan and DPO Rajanpur also have contacted with tribal chieftains and politically influential personalities for recovery of abducted cops.
It is worthy of note that robbers on early Sunday had taken hostages to nine cops who were rendered their services at Kacha Jamal checkpost.
