Ephedrine case: Court issues notices to Gilani, family

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The anti-narcotics court in Rawalpindi Saturday issued notices to former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani‚ his wife and sons Ali Musa Gilani and Abdul Qadir Gilani in the ephedrine case and directed them to submit their replies by the 13th of this month.

 

Notices have also been issued to fifteen other accused‚ including former Federal Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin‚ his wife and sons with the directive to submit their replies by the deadline.

 

The court during the hearing ordered the accused to submit their replies in writing giving details of their source of income and explaining wherefrom they got their assets by July 13.

 

The said officials are accused of making illegal assets by misusing ephedrine quota.
