PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – One policeman was killed and another got injured during clash with militants in Peshawar on Thursday.
According to sources, police and other security officials conducted a joint search operation in Sheikh Nalah area and raided a house following a tip off regarding the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, terrorists opened fire on the security personnel, killing police officer Dawood and injuring another.
The injured policeman was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.
According to police, two militants were also killed in retaliatory fire.
