Summary Says govt ready for dialogue but action will be taken against the terrorist elements.
Quetta (Dunya News/Online) –Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan reiterated need of dialogue with militants but ruled out negotiations with elements that carried out attacks on women and hospitals.
Talking to media in joint news conference with Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch, Interior Minister said that restoration of peace in Balochistan was the first priority of present government.
The minister said negotiation would be made with those who abandon militancy, drop their weapons and ready for talks added those elements who are involved in women students bus blast would be retaliate in same manner.
Nisar said that Islam and civilized society do not allow such cowardly attacks on women and hospitals.
“Baloch and Pashtoon values do not allow attacks on children and women even during state of war,” he said.
The minister said he and Pervaiz Rasheed reached Quetta to show solidarity with people of Balochistan despite great threats.
Nisar said Prime Minister had called an important meeting on Balochistan issue on May 20, adding that important decisions would be made in that meeting.
He said if provincial government of Balochistan approved and recommended the federal government is ready to take responsibility for security in the province.
Nisar vowed to restore Quaid residency in minimum time period in its original shape.
Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was in constant contact with him during five hours long operation at Bolan Medical Complex.
He said protection of people was first priority of his government, adding collective efforts were needed for the purpose.
