Summary Affiliated businesses, companies feel insecure as Faisalabad Airport gives a deserted look.

 

FAISALABAD (Online) - Pakistan International Airlines has cancelled 3 of its International flights from Faisalabad Airport, inviting severe public criticism.


After closing down its final flight to Dubai, the Faisalabad Airport has become a desolate place as the canteen contractor has also threatened to close down his business, while employees of various agencies, companies affiliated with airport have become increasingly insecure about their livelihood.


This would be posing severe problems for citizens of adjoining areas of Sargodha, Sahiwal and Faisalabad itself, wishing to travel abroad from a nearest possible international airport.


Masses have termed the move as a major conspiracy to sabotage the integrity, progress of National airlines, while strongly arguing the Prime Minister to take notice of the whimsy attitude of PIA officials, critical situation.


No private airline of Pakistan is allowed to operate from Faisalabad airport.
