QUETTA (Dunya News):-Anti Terrorism Court rejected ex-present general (rtd) Pervez Musharraf’s petition filed for bail in Akbar Bugti murder case.
ATC No-1 judge Muhammad Ismael resumed hearing of petition filed on the part of Pervez Musharraf. The accused counsel Advocate Ilyas Siddiqui did not present in the court.
Judge Muhammad Ismael rejected the bail plea with the remarks that the accused was not arrested; so there was no justification of his bail.
It is worthy of note that the ATC had issued nonbailable arrest warrest against five accused including former president Pervez Musharraf; however, none of them could be arrested till now.
Next hearing would be on June 24.
