Summary Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has declined to give a deadline to end loadshedding.
SIALKOT (Dunya News) - Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif refused to give any deadline for an end to menace of loadshedding and said it might take years to clear up the mess left by the previous government.
Speaking at a reception, he said loadshedding was like piled up garbage of 13/14 years, which could not be cleared immediately and added it might take not weeks or months, but years.
He said our first priority was to reduce the duration of loadshedding. He further said that CNG stations were involved in theft of gas. He said that 2,000MW of electricity could be added to the system with closure of CNG stations.
