Summary Announcing to quit PTI, Fouzia Kasuri said some insincere PTI leaders contributed to poll defeat.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Women Wing Fouzia Kasuri Wednesday said workers of PTI were disappointed because party leadership was setting aside merit while taking the decisions.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Fouzia said Imran Khan Wednesday telephoned her and requested her not to leave the party.
She said Imran had promised her that she would be allocated a seat in the National Assembly on seats reserved for women.
“However, merit was completely ignored in allocation of the reserved seats,” she said.
Fouzia said PML-N, Jammat-e-Islami and Awami Tehrik had contacted her but she had taken no decision to join any of these parties so far.
Four PTI candidates in the elections had dual nationality and Hamid Khan supported them, she said.
“Some PTI leaders worked against the party interests and they are responsible for defeat in the elections,” she claimed.
