Summary A 13-year-old was injured by alleged police torture in Karimabad area of Karachi on Monday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, police tortured 13-year-old Muhammad Ali at the Karimabad Police Station on Monday night and broke his arm and leg.
Police also demanded Rs 20,000 from the heirs of the boy when they reached the police station. However, police released the kid when the heirs of the child staged a protest.
The injured boy was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital but the hospital administration refused to admit the boy after which the heirs along with the injured student reached Governor House and staged a protest there and blocked Fawara Chowk.
The porters ended their protest after negotiation with administration and the boy was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
