PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The newly-elected members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will elect leader of the house today.
According to the sources, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)’s nominee Pervez Khan Khattak will face tough time from opposition.
JUI-F leader Maulana Lutfur Rehman is also running for the slot of chief minister. However, sources said that he will withdraw his nomination today.
Earlier, PTI s nominees Asad Qaiser and Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi were elected unopposed speaker and deputy speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Thursday.
