Summary AML chief Sheikh Rashid says he would join PTI on opposition benches.
LAHORE (Online) - The AML (Awami Muslim League) head, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that he will vote PTI’s Javed Hashmi for Prime Minister’s slot.
Talking to media after his visit to Imran Khan’s residence to enquire about his health, Sheikh Rashid said that he also had talks with Imran Khan about national affairs.
On the occasion, Sheikh Rashid also announced that he would join PTI on opposition benches and would also ask other political parties to follow suite.
The AML head said that riggings had tarnished Pakistan’s image and predicted that the new government would also refer to International Monetary Fund (IMF) for more loans, and would lie to masses about the issue.
He said that PTI chief Imran Khan, who favored dialogue with Taliban, had expressed strong reaction against continuing drone attacks, and had also asked Mian Nawaz Sharif to put his lot with PTI over the issue.
He also lauded Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project as a conducive and easiest source against the menace of load shedding, while also expressing his apprehensions about Saudi Arabia expelling 30,000 Pakistani workers, there.
