Summary Protesters raised slogans against MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain in front of Peshawar Press Club.
PESHAWAR (Online) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held a protest outside the Peshawar Press Club against the assassination of their senior vice president, Zehra Shahid in Karachi.
Holding placards and flags in their hands, the protestors were raising slogans against MQM and its chief Altaf Hussain. They described Altaf as murderer of Zehra Shahid.
The protestors demanded of chief justice to take a suo motu action against the murder of PTI leader.
They said Sindh caretaker government is also equally responsible for Zehra Shahid’s murder because it not only failed in providing security to the PTI workers but yet to arrest the murderers.
PTI’s newly elected member National Assembly (MNA), Engineer Hamid-ul-Haq, members Provincial Assembly (MPAs) Yaseen Khalil, Javed Naseem, Arif Yusuf, Fazal Ilahi, district secretary general Peshawar Younis Mohmand , women leader Zareen Zia and Ayesha Gulalay and a large amount of workers participated in protest.
