Summary At least five people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire Nazimabad area and shot dead former Union Council Nazim Abid Ilyas. A spokesman of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has said that Abid Ilyas was a JI member.
In another incident, an activist of a political party, Abdul Jabbar, who was critically wounded in firing incident in Orangi Town succumbed to his injuries in hospital. According to police, Abdul Jabbar was wounded in firing incident in Orangi Town Sector 11.
Some unidentified miscreants opened fire at the resident on an ‘Amil’ on Manghupir Road, killing a woman named Bakht Bibi and a man named Shafi and injuring 14-year-old boy Hassan.
Meanwhile, police have also recovered dead body of a man which was stuffed in gunny bag from Kala Pull area.
