Summary The top officials arrived at polling stations to cast their vote.

 

(Web Desk) - Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfar Pervez Kayani, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhrudding G. Ibrahim and President Asif Ali Zardari have set a good example for the people to come out of their homes and fulfill their constitutional responsiblity for the betterment of the country.

 

The chief of the state organisations on Saturday cast their votes for the first time by going to their respective polling stationsin person.

 

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry accompanied by his son Arsalan Iftikhar and went to a polling station in Quetta to cast his vote.

 

Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani just went to the polling station constituency NA-54 constituency, where he voted for the national and provincial assembly seats.

 

CEC Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim also cast his vote in Defence area of Karachi.

 

On the other hand, President Asif Ali Zardari and his daughters had earlier cast their votes through postal ballots, but Bilawal Bhutto Zardari couldn’t cast his vote, because ECP didn t allow him to use the postal ballot facility.
