ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chief Observer of the EU Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to Pakistan and Member of the European Parliament, Michael Gahler, on Saturday said that peaceful and smooth transfer of power to the newly-elected government will be Pakistan’s biggest achievement.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Miachael Gahler raised his serious concerns about the increased level of violence during elections in Pakistan.
He said anti-state elements are targeting particular political parties and threatening the democratic system.
