MANSEHRA (Web Desk): At least six people including three policemen were killed and more than 10 injured in a remote control bombing near a police van at Torghar on Thursday.

 

Constables Sahib Khan, Nazir Ahmad and a passer-by Saeed Ahmad were rushed to hospital in Thakot after the blast. Sahib Khan, however, succumbed to injuries before reaching the health facility.

 

The miscreants, according to the police, detonated a remote controlled device concealed in sand near the River Indus area.

 

A police party was deployed to check the passengers of ferries moving from Judbah to Darband and other parts of Hazara when the blast occurred.

 

The police have cordoned off the areas and have initiated search operation against the terrorists, DPO stated.
