Summary Two police officials and a woman were killed in firing and grenade attack by militants on police.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – According to details, police conducted a raid in Rasheed Garhi area of Peshawar on a tip-off that militants were present in a house in the locality.
On seeing police, the militants opened fire due to which two cops were killed. Police surrounded the house and lauched a counter attack. The militants also hurled a hand grenade on the police party.
According to CCPO Peshawar, Liaquat Ali, a suicide bomber blew himself inside the house due to which a woman was killed and a child received injuries while the building of the house collapsed.
According to CCPO Liaquat Ali, the aim of the miscreants was to sabotage upcoming general elections.
