Summary Election campaign of political parties for the upcoming general polls will end at midnight today.
KARACHI (Online) - Thursday (today) is the last day for the election campaign of political parties, but following yesterday’s incident of Imran Khan’s fall from the makeshift lift in a Lahore rally, PTI’s would not be able to hold any big rally today.
Muslim League-Nawaz (ML-N) president Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has also announced the suspension of his party’s election campaign in a good gesture to the rival PTI.
However, the election related activities of other parties would continue as usual today. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s Quaid Altaf Hussain will telephonically address election meeting in District Naseerabad of Balochistan.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F)’s Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman will be addressing election rally at Tank in Khyber Pukhtunkhaw.
Besides, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qaim Ali Shah and Khurshid Shah would be conducting election campaign in Jacobabad.
