The Supreme Court resumed the hearing of petitions to frame charges of treason against military ruler Pervez Musharraf in Islamabad today.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja is hearing the case.
Counsel for Pervez Musharraf‚ Ibrahim Satti is his arguments said that only the government has the right to file treason petition against Pervez Musharraf. He said since August 15‚ 2008 no case was registered against him in this regard.
Earlier‚ the apex court ordered the Federation to provide access to the counsels of Pervez Musharraf to meet him as it is a constitutional right.
