Summary Says Supreme Court Bar will become a party in Musharraf case if need arises.

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Secretary Supreme Court Bar Association Javed Iqbal Raja has said legal fraternity will block any attempt to allow Musharraf to flee from country with help of stake holders.

“Preparations have been finalized to allow abrogator of constitution, Pervez Musharraf, to flee from the country with the help of stake holders,” he said.

He is being sent to Dubai, Raja expressed these views while talking to media persons here on Wednesday.

Attempts are being made to malign legal fraternity by entering fake lawyers into their ranks, he said.

Declaring Musharraf farmhouse sub jail is a discriminatory treatment, he held.

“We fully support resolution adopted by Pakistan Bar Council in connection with Pervez Musharraf case, he added.

“We are with the judges in connection with courts hearing and we have full confidence on the court that it will do justice,” he said.

Replying to a question, he said that there is no need to become a party on behalf of Supreme Court Bar in Musharraf case and we will become party if need arises.
