WANA (Dunya News) - At least two people were killed and seven others wounded when a rocket struck a public meeting of an independent candidate in NA-41, South Waziristan on Friday. 


The injured were shifted to Wana Headquarter Hospital.

 

According to officials, unknown miscreants fired back to back ten rockets at a public gathering in Wana. Three rockets struck the rally while other rockets fell in the surrounding areas.


The meeting was organized by independent candidate Naseerullah, who narrowly escaped the attack.


As many as 38 candidates, including those of PTI, JI, PPP, JUI-F and PML-N, are taking part in the election in NA-41.
