Summary Anti-polio team came under attack in Gomal village on Friday.
TANK (Dunya News) - At least two levies personnel were injured as uknown gunmen opened fire on anti-polio vaccination team in Gomal village in Tank district’s border area with Waziristan tribal region.
The injured were shifted to a local hospital, official told.
The attackers immediately escaped from the scene after the incident.
Around 24,000 children have missed their polio drops this year mainly in the northwestern and tribal areas of the country due to such attacks.
