Summary At least ten people, including three City Wardens, were killed in incidents of violence in Karachi.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Target killing continues in Karachi as 10 more people were gunned down on Thursday.

 

According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Soldier Bazaar and wounded four persons, including three City Wardens. The injured were rushed to Civil Hospital where three City Wardens, Sadiq, Farooq and Nasrullah, succumbed to their wounds.

 

The Administrator Karachi has announced Rs 500,000 compensation for the heirs of deceased wardens.

 

Earlier, a member of MQM literary committee, Sheraz Anwar was shot dead in Gulberg while some unidentified persons opened fire in Shah Faisal Colony and killed a man named Farooq Shah.

 

In a separate incident, some unidentified gunmen shot dead two people in New Karachi area while another man was killed in Kharadar area. Police have also recovered two dead bodies from Bhutto Colony and Malir Haji Dad Goth.

 

Meanwhile a blast occurred in Banaras area outside the showroom of Majeed Ullah who is brother of former UC councilor belonging to ANP. The blast damaged a car and three shops.
