LAHORE (Online): The PML-Q and PPP reached a consensus over seat adjustment leaving six national and 14 Punjab Assembly seats open.
According to sources, the PML-Q has gained 25 while PPP got 75 constituencies in central Punjab.
The sources said that PPP and PML-Q on Thursday agreed to support each other in forthcoming general elections and 25 out of 100 constituencies were given to PML-Q in central Punjab.
Similarly, the PPP got 152 constituencies of provincial assembly and PML-Q gained 48.
Disputed constituency of NA-105 Gujrat is still in abeyance as the constituency is a bone of contention between Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar of PPP.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain are likely to meet on Tuesday to resolve the issue of NA-105.
