GUJRANWALA (Online): A Returning Officer (RO) on Sunday rejected the nomination paper of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former federal state minister Imtiaz Safdar Warraich from NA-98 Gujranwala.
The Returning Officer, rejecting the papers, said that Warraich did not fulfill the criteria established in the Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
“Imtaiz Safdar Waraich has mentioned wrong detail of his assests,” the RO said.
After rejection of his papers, Warraich said he was disappointed over the decision and vowed to challenge it.
