Austin III, Commander Central Command, USA, called on Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shameem Wynne and Defence Secretary Lieutenant General Asif Yasmeen Malik during his visit to Pakistan.
The meeting dilated upon matters related to mutual interests between the two countries. Geo-strategic situation of the region with an emphasis on Afghanistan also came under discussion.
