Summary Caretaker federal information minister says fair election is a real challenge for them.
ISLAMABAD (Online): Federal Cabinet has resolved that the caretaker setup would maintain its neutrality and provide effective administration to ensure holding of free‚ fair and transparent elections in peaceful environment.
The meeting of the cabinet was held in Islamabad on Friday with Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso in the chair.
Briefing newsmen about its proceedings‚ Information Minister Arif Nizami said effective coordination will be maintained with the provinces for conduct of elections in peaceful atmosphere.
He said the cabinet had noted that the country was facing multiple challenges and it considered a comprehensive plan to improve law and order and bring stability in the country.
The Minister said the Prime Minister mandated Interior Minister to take measures to ensure that law and order situation does not become an obstacle in the way of election process.
