LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard a petition regarding unscheduled power loadshedding.
The petitioner informed the court that the prolonged and unscheduled power outages across Punjab irking the domestic activities and bringing halt to commercial hustle and bustle.
The complainant said that discrimination was being meted out to power consumers in Punjab where 18-hour loadshedding is being carried out as compared to a few hours power shutdown in Sindh.
The court ordered the Ministry of Water and Power to submit a report regarding the issue till April 11.
