Summary Gillani and Raja will launch the campaign from Southern Punjab and Upper Punjab.

 

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Pakistan Peoples Party will kick off its election campaign on Thursday.
 

 

According to the party sources, former Prime Ministers Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani and Raja Pervez Ashraf will launch the campaign from Southern Punjab and Upper Punjab respectively.
 

 

Mian Manzoor Wattoo is to start the party campaign from Central Punjab. He has also been assigned to look after the campaign in the Central Punjab.
 

 

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will kick start the camping from Grahi Khuda Baksh on Thursday and would also address the public rallies and meetings at different places of the country.
 

 

Meanwhile PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday directed party leaders to ignore media speculations and improve their performance ahead of the general elections. He expressed these views while presiding over a consultative meeting at Bilawal House in Karachi.
 

 

The young PPP chairman was confident that his party would emerge as winner in the next general elections. Taking notice of workers’ protests, he directed the party to submit a report on the issue.
 

 

In addition, distribution of party tickets and issues pertaining to election campaign came under discussion in the meeting.
