Summary Electricity will be fully restored after completion of repair work, QESCO official said.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan’s 17 districts continue to face 22 hours of power outages on the third day (Tuesday).
Electricity to several districts including Quetta city was suspended on March 31 when some unknown miscreants blew up four 220kv towers in Bakhtiyarabad and Chatar areas.
Yesterday, two of the electricity towers were restored in Bakhtiyarabad, however, repair work is underway in Chatar.
According to sources, electricity demand in 17 districts stands at 12,50 megawatt, whereas, only 320 megawatt power is being supplied.
