PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The militants attacked Sheikh Muhammadi grid station in Peshawar during wee hours on Tuesday.
According to police, several armed militants attacked the grid station with rockets and destroyed machinery and towers.
They killed two people on the spot and took nine people with them while five bodies of the kidnapped including two policemen and three WAPDA officials were found about half a mile away from the grid station. Four WAPDA officials are still missing.
The terrorists took 6 vehicles and 4 transformers with them after the attack. Police cordoned off the area after the incident while no arrest has been reported so far.
Parts of Peshawar still lack electricity because the station was damaged in the attack.
