ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the Appellate Tribunals for disposing of appeals against rejection or acceptance of nomination papers for the upcoming general elections.
Presidential spokesperson Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the Appellate Tribunals have been approved on the advice of caretaker Prime Minister.
According to details, three Appellate Tribunals of Peshawar High Court, 10 of Lahore High Court, six of Sindh High Court and three of Balochistan High Court will hear the appeals against rejection or acceptance of nomination papers.
According to Farhatullah Babar the appeals against rejection or acceptance of the nomination papers will be filed by April 9 while the appeals would be disposed of by the Tribunals by April 16.
