Summary After SC instructions, police have arrested 18 suspects during search operation in Lyari.
According to details, a heavy contingent of police launched search operation in Nawalane, Afshan Gali, Maiwa Shah Road and its adjacent areas on late Thursday night and arrested 18 suspects.
All the entry and exit points in the area were sealed off before house-to-house search. Police have shifted the arrested person to Kalakot Police Station.
In a separate incident, police have arrested an extortionist from the jurisdiction of Site Area Police Station after an encounter. Police have also recovered arms from him.
Meanwhile, police have also conducted a raid on a gambling den in Sharafi Goth area and arrested 19 gamblers.
