Summary At least eight people were killed in separate incidents of firing in different parts of Karachi.
According to details, some unidentified gunmen shot dead two people in Miran Naka area of Lyari and near Board office while a man named Imran Haider was gunned down near Golimar area.
Two people were also shot dead in separate incident of firing in Bhainse Colony and Sarjani Town.
A man was killed and four others sustained injuries during an armed encounter between two rival groups in Gulshan Iqbal. Indiscriminate firing forced the residents to remain inside their houses. Some armed persons also set ablaze a car in the area. Heavy contingents of police and Rangers reached the spot and sealed all the entry and exit points in the area.
