Summary Petition against All Pakistan Muslim League should was filed in the Lahore High Court.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A petition seeking ban on former President Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf s political party was filed in the Lahore High Court today (Wednesday)
The plaintiff Muhammad Riaz pleaded before the court of Justice Nasser Saeed‚ that Pervez Musharraf took many extra-constitutional measures‚ breached the constitution and detained the judges unlawfully.
He prayed the court that Musharraf is not eligible as per the Article-62 and 63‚ so he is not supposed to form a political party.
The petitioner contended before the court that Musharraf s political party All Pakistan Muslim League should be banned.
Justice Nasser Saeed asked the petitioner to provide the complete house address so as to send a notice to him.
