LAHORE (Dunya News) Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri said that his fight was against the corrupt political system that was posing threat to the security and sovereignty of Pakistan even after the general elections.
He said that workers of Awami Tehreek would hold peaceful protests near polling stations on the occasion of upcoming general elections.
Qadri said that he would continue struggle for people friendly reforms and strengthening of democracy.
“In my opinion the masses should directly elect the prime minister”, Qadri added.
