LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced names for the Parliamentary Committee to decide the candidate for caretaker PM, as government and Opposition have yet to reach consensus on the matter.
The names proposed by the PML-N for the parliamentary committee included Pervez Rashid‚ Ishaq Dar‚ Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Khawaja Asif.
Meanwhile‚ Chief PML-N Nawaz Sharif has summoned a meeting of his party leaders to discuss issues of caretaker setup in Federation and Provinces.
The PML-N Chief has also directed Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to try to remove reservations of JUI Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman regarding caretaker Prime Minister.
Earlier, PM Raja Pervez Ashraf also forwarded four names to the National Assembly Secretariat for the parliamentary committee.
The names proposed by the government included Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Khurshid Shah, Ghulam Ahmad Bilour and Farooq H Naek.
