Lawyers boycott courts over Peshawar attack

Summary Lawyers have been observing strike across the country against Peshawar judicial complex blast.

 

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Lawyers have boycotted the courts’ proceedings over Peshawar judicial complex.

 

Pakistan Bar Association, provincial and district bar councils appealed the lawyers throughout the country to go on strike to condemn Peshawar judicial complex blast.

 

The lawyers boycotted the court proceedings and demanded of the government that miscreants should be brought to justice.
At least four people were killed and 30 others injured when terrorists attacked a judicial complex in Peshawar on Monday.

 

The blast took place inside the court of Civil Judge Kulsoom Azam, a police official said. Several lawyers and policemen are among the wounded.

 

Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan also visited the complex and vowed to monitor the probe into the incident.
