QUETTA (Dunya News) – The political situation in Balochistan took a new twist when assemblty speaker allotted opposition seats to 23 MPAs of BNP, JUI and ANP while JUI’s Maulana Abdul Wasay was notified as leader of the Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly.
Earlier, a group of 20 provincial ministers belonging to PPP and PML-Q called on Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi and handed their resignations to him. Governor Balochistan has accepted their resinations.
With the resignation of more ministers, Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has lost majority in the Balochistan Assembly. Nawab Aslam Raisani now has supports of only 23 members while the number of opposition members soared to 47.
