Summary Chief Justice of Lahore High Court resumed hearing of the petition today.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Deputy Attorney General Yasmin Sehgal while raising an objection said Lahore High Court cannot hear the drone attacks case, thus, only Supreme Court or Parliament can look into the matter.
LHC Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial Thursday resumed hearing of petition filed against US drone strikes.
During case proceeding, Justice Umar Ata Badnial remarked that the matter is pertaining to human rights and court has the right to intervene.
While addressing the Deputy AG, he said government must present arguments over petition’s maintainability in the next hearing, if it has any objection.
Later, the case hearing was adjourned till March 4.
