Summary Religious scholars strongly condemned the tragic incident happened with the Christian community.
LAHORE (Online) - Ulema of various sects decide to observe a day of tolerance on Friday as to express solidarity with the Christian community.
According to media reports, this was decided during a meeting between a delegation of Ulema belonging to different schools of thought and all the bishops in Lahore on Monday.
It was also decided in the meeting that tolerance day will also be observed in all the churches on Sunday.
Later‚ addressing a press conference a religious scholar Allama Tahir Ashrafi demanded that the responsible of the Badami Bagh tragedy must be dealt with severely. He demanded those involved must be tried under anti terrorism act.
