Summary KARACHI (Dunya News) – Tense and grave situation is prevailing in Karachi.
An intense firing has been reported in different areas of Karachi and Hyderabad. Unidentified men have also torched several vehices in Landhi and National Highway.
Most of the markets, business outlets and petrol pumps have been closed in different areas of Karachi including Malir, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Abul Hassan Asfhani road, Gulistan-e-Johar, Rizvia colony and North Karachi.
Meanwhile, people are rushing towards their homes after armed men resorted to firing in Hyderabad. Panic in the areas have led to traffic jams on several roads and intersections. However, no loss of human life has been reported as far.
Karachi transport union has also announced to suspend transport services following the firing in the city.
Meanwhile, the provincial health secretary has declared emergency in all public hospitals.
