Summary LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab health ministry has restored thirty-five young doctors.
According to the notification, the restored doctors were associated with Jinnah hospital, Services hospital, Mayo hospital, Children hospital and Nishter hospital of Multan.
The doctors were sacked for provoking their colleagues and holding strike in public hospitals following the Gujranwala incident.
After the successful talks with chief minister, the doctors ended their hunger strike while the government restored the protesting doctors.
It is important to mention that the inquiry launched against the doctors involved in Gujranwala torture case has not been withdrawn as yet.
