Summary Incessant rain and strong winds on late Tuesday brought the cold back to the country.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Weather turned cold in Punjab and other cities of the country after rain with winds lashed most cities of the country including Lahore.
Rain with winds was recorded in different parts of the country including Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura Jhang Faisalabad and other districts of the Punjab.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted widespread rain for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours with chances of heavy snowfall over the hills.
Widespread snowfall, heavy at times, is expected over the hills of Malakand, Hazara, Murree, Galiyat, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Hailing is also expected at isolated places in the plains of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Punjab including Islamabad during the period.
